i am having a problem with the track ball on my curve. i can scroll up and side to side but not down. does anyone know whats wrong or what can i do to fix it i tried to take the battery out to see if it was the software but that didnt work no i cant text or do much. help please

first thing i would try is some canned air and blow it out. sounds like trash in it.

If I may add to the excellent suggestions above, taking apart the trackball assembly is rarely, if ever, necessary or undertaken.

We're always cleaning them Skull! Click on the link in my post above. It'll tell you how to do it

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~You can also try pushing down and rolling the trackball. It has worked for me. But if it happens once it will start to happen more often. I bought a replacement at www.blackberrytrackballs.com for 12.95. Don't wait for it to quit working.
