Question Problems accessing Pinstack.com on my Bold

I get an error message that says "The XML is not well-formed.", and it seems to only happen when I attempt to access pinstack.com. I was able to access the site one time, but the other times (20 or 30?) I've gotten this error message.

Also, the Bold has two i-net icons (one "browser" and one "media net"), but it seems to force me to use the "media net" browser; when I go into browser options it lists "media net" and BB Wifi. Can I not select the bb browser option on the bold?

Has anyone else encountered these problems, and any solutions?

Thanks in advance.

Yes I've encountered this, here is the solution:

1) Log in to BIS from your computer, resend your service books.
2) Confirm your BB has received them
3) Wait about 30 seconds, then shut down your BB.
4) Remove your battery for 30 seconds, put it back and you will be all set.

Cheers

That is exactly what used to happen to me.
Quick fix : Options - Advanced Options - Browser - Default Browser : Change to Internet Browser.

That did the trick for me !

Yup I'm getting this problem as well on my Bold, have tried both the solutions above but am still getting "The XML is not well-formed." error when trying to access both the normal and WAP PinStack.com sites, strange that it only does this for PinStack, I was getting the the problem when trying to access m.moodio.fm site but this went away on its own, any ideas?

...or is it maybe a genuine issue with the XML formatting, intrested minds would like to know!!!!

Having the same problem. Tried both solutions and giving me no luck. I'm using 4.6.0.162(292) if that helps.

Thanks

Make sure you are using your internet browser and not media net.

Login to your BIS site from your computer and resend your service books. It sounds like you are missing a browser.

Go into your browser, pull up the menu and select options. under Browser Configuration see if you have more than one browser option. then scroll down To Browser Identification and set it to Blackerry Browser. Scroll back up and see what options are avialable under browser.

Have you gone to your MAIN Options/Advanced/Browser menu and selected Internet Browser?

Go to this link: http://www.att.blackberry.com/

Log in or create account and then from the left hand menu, resend your service books.

You may have created your BIS account from your handheld but its the same thing online.

Hope this helps and your mileage may vary.
