I have to admit after reading those specifications I want one too. Right now it has only been a month with my 7290 bb and after seeing that monster I feel like fred flintstone living in the 22nd century or something. LOL

Hayden- I don't know if you have access to it but I would like to know what processor they are using in the 8800. Can you find out for me? I am curious.

Fantastic specs! I had also read on other threads about a mini SD slot. I would like a camera but not a necessity.

The media player and mini SD (or micro, I forget which) is really a must for travelling. With airlines no longer routinely playing movies, it means that myself (and others are in the same boat) need to entertain ourselves on these long flights. I played movies on my treo 650 and a pocket pc I would carry after I got my 8700. NOw I only need the one device again.

I will definitely buy this as soon as it comes out. RIM is a great company that provides what the consumer market wants.

Great, now all I need to do is wait 5 years for Nextel, excuse me Sprint/Nextel, to sell them.

The only thing keeping me with Nextel is the awesome service plan I have, unlimited for 100 bones. However, If another provider comes out with a similar plan and has this phone, I'm switching so fast.
