Things to note about the 3G Apple iPhone and 3G BlackBerry BOLD: - The 3G iPhone's internal processor is STILL the same as the original. So much for more speed. Whereas previous BlackBerrys had 312MHz and the new BOLD has a 624MHz processor. Who's truly "twice as fast" as before?
- BlackBerry's consumer PUSH email service is included with your BlackBerry internet Service (BIS) plan. In addition the iPhone internet you must pay for "MobileMe" subscription for PUSH email.

The Bold wins for sure!!!!! More features and a real keyboard...the fingerprints on the touch screen would drive me insane

I think you can install 3rd party apps to have that function on iphone. But above considers out-of-box only.

Let's be really honest- The iPhone is a beautiful device and if you're a music/video junkie it is the device for you.
However the Blackberry is the productivity powerhouse. Secure Push email, PIM features, dedicated messenger app, third party apps. Qwerty keyboard- hands down the better of these two.
But I do recognize Apple's style and most importantly their ability to deliver a great product. RIM should not take this competition lightly. RIM needs to go from great to OUTSTANDING to keep Apple at bay.
(* Particularly around launches of new products & software. STILL WAITING ON OS 4.5)

I cant believe for the life of me how Apple didnt include MMS with this iPhone.... It really hasnt drawn the same attention as the first one either.... Not really surprised. BB Bold baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why? The bold can sync with itunes and can have 16gig capacity.... I see no need to even consider the iPhone for a music junkie. Not to mention A2DP... how can somebody call themselves a music junkie and demands the most sound quality possible when the iPhone wont support stereo bluetooth.....

Couldn't say it any better.. Plus, how do you claim to be a PDA when you can't even copy and paste.. You would have thought they would have fixed that, but I guess not..

I was really considering the iPhone when I went shopping for a new phone....but before I committed, I did my research, and I'm glad I did...I went with RIM and I'm very happy I did...bye bye iPhone, you've been beat!!
