We've had reports of BIS issues from our various contacts. I haven't been able to access mobile.blackberry.com, wap.pinstack.com or anything via BB browser recently. Anyone else experiencing issues?

We also received the following report:

Verizon is stating that RIM is having network infrastructure problems right now. We're not sure if all carriers are affected. I had a BES end user who can't get service books, nor browse.

Well, I can't get the browser to open but the BB Messenger works. I just got a message from a friend via the Messenger.

Take that back, browser is working now.

apparently Florida is working fine - just traded messages on BBM with a friend locally who uses At&t, no issues for her at all.

Warranted with the critical type of communication (governments, military, financial, etc) any outage can affect. Credit to RIM for not trying to downplay things eh.

BB browser has been off and on all day today. i think they're (TMO) messing with a tower perhaps? lately at work i get zero service...definately feel the effects of the outage though... have been for a couple days...hoping the browser perks back up once i get home and in a better coverage area...but, only time will tell
