Thanks Hayden. Has anyone else run into issues when trying to sync with outlook? When i set up the sync it does not have outlook as an option to sync to only ASCII importer/exporter. I know others have run into the same issue, just wondering if anyone has found the fix.

Just an update, i uninstalled the previous download from another post and installed this one and now i have the option to sync with ASCII importer/exporter, outlook express and yahoo, but still no regular outlook. Anyone know what's up. Must you have outlook 2007?

I was able to sync with an older version of Outlook without any trouble. That's strange . . .

anyone still getting the Visual basic runtime error?

I've gotten this error on the last DM update and cannot seem to find a solution. I've tried every solution I could find.

Do you need the "Media Manager"? Try installing the DM 4.3 without the Media Manager.

I would like to use it since it has the ability convert videos for the pearl. I can't believe I'm the only one still having these issues. Removing the DAO.msi doesn't fix it, re-registering the dlls doesn't work either.... can't seem to get it to work.

I am having the EXACT same issue. In fact, I uninstalled and reinstalled 4.2. The error is still there even though 4.2 worked great before.

Help...... I do need Media Manager.

I never got 4.2 sp2 to work. I have been using v4.1 without roxio in order to get the media manager to work.

So just to update the situation. I overlooked the fact that you need outlook 2002 or above and i am temporarily using outlook 2000. Soooooo if you are having the issue make sure you are using outlook 2002 +.

I now hang my head in shame and slink away with my tail between my legs.

New to the group and new to BB. DM 4.3 came with the phone. The issue is that media manager is nowhere to be found! What did I miss or screwup..

on the one i have installed, Yahoo! is not an option. any idea whats up with that? i need the yahoo option

Where did you install it from? Try from HERE direct from Rim's site. The first time I loaded from this post i did not have access to yahoo, and after i got it from Rim only in calender i think. Hope it helps.

Do you need the desktop manager software in order to get ringtones from your computer to your phone? If so, how do you know what version of the software to download? I have Windows Vista on my computer and have a Blackberry 7100t phone.

Blackberry Desktop Manager will not open in Vista, it opens for a split second and disapears. i have loaded and reloaded Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.3 several times to no avail. help me. It's very important for my job.

I am having some issues trying to use the media manger. It locks up my computer and uses 100% of my CPU at the same time.. It will not let me uninstall either...I am starting to go nuts..HELP

Had the same problem. I was using Roxio Media Manager 9 Retail version. When I installed DM it asked if I wanted to remove prevision version I answered yes. Big mistake neither would work. I tried to uninstall it would not let me. I had to uninstall "all" Roxio" products I could find, "all" DM and BlackBerry products. Also "regedit" to remove all "Roxio", and "BlackBerry" (Be Very Careful). ReStart computer. and download the latest version of DM for your handheld. I am using the one with media it has Media 9. It works great for my 8820.
I found that DM (Roxio for BlackBerry) has a conflict with retail Roxio Media Manager 9, don't know about Media 10. Also it removed all product I had installed by Sonic.
