I have used the Global Sat with my 8100 and my 8300. Works great. I picked it in part as it is the one RIM sells for the Curve and Pearl. I bought mine off of eBay.

I also have the GlobalSat 359. NEVER had a problem with it. I don't know if it is the cheapest, but it is worth the price.

Re: GPS Receiver Pucks - Which is the best for the curve?

Sorry to thread jack but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with a Holux gpslim 240? I use it with my PPC and it's been great. It's small enough that I use it as a key fob with my keys/lanyard.

I hope this unit works well with a Blackberry...Oh well I'll know when I pickup the 8320 when it comes out.

From what I've read in previous threads, you need the GlobalSat puck if you want to use the TeleNav GPS system. But the Holux should work with other GPS apps.
