Alright. I downloaded the demo file, and extracted it to my desktop.

The readme file (yeah, I actually READ them) says:

"there are 2 versions of this game. Users of older devices like the 8700 series
and 7100 series (and 75xx, 77xx) should install the files from the folder called
"pinstackerFor87007100".

If you have a newer device, including the Pearl (8100), the 8800, 8830, and
the Curve (8300), then please install the files from the folder called
"pinstackerForPearlCurve8800". Installing this version on older devices could result in unpredictable behavior."

Am I missing something? There is ONLY one file, and when you click on the download, it downloads a folder called "PinStackerDemo1.50", no mention of if it's for the Pearl (8100), the Curve, or older devices.

Don't want to install the wrong file... anyone? Has anyone installed the demo on their Pearl, and if so, does it work fine?

Hi Shel,

The demo download is a single zip file containing 2 subfolders. When you extract it, you should see the Readme file, and 2 subfolders called "pinstackerFor87007100" and "pinstackerForPearlCurve8800". Each folder contains a .alx file and a .cod file so that you can install them using the RIM Desktop Manager.

The folder called "PinStackerDemo1.50" should contain both of those subfolders. To extract it on a windows PC, just right click the file and select "Extract" from the menu.

hey every 1 i just wanted to say that i have a BB8700c and i just hooked it up with OS 4.2 software, i really can't find much to dowload to it everything tells me, " i'm either to advanced or not compatible"
what should i do...any 1 and every 1 please hook a guy up....thanks

I had to wipe and reload my Pearl after 5 days of it shutting down. The download hangs before it even gets started. All I get is "Download failed." I am installing it OTA. Help?

Downloaded twice the OS 4.2 version (for the Pearl) - DM would not recognize the file when I tried to add it via application loader.

After a re-boot on the p-c and the third download, I got it installed. Who knows? Third time's a charm? I hope not but I have to assume that this one was my fault rather than the supplier. I feel stupid when I can't determine WHY something doesn't work and then DOES!
