So for everyone who was wondering about getting videos on your 8100/8800 of course the answer is yes, and there are a few websites that you can go to such as
http://tinytube.net and there is the thread on this site about the program called Supervideo.
Well I was just playing around on
http://www.youtube.com and i figured out how to get video from youtube to your device. it takes a couple of steps but it works great.
Also, I found another
blackberry video convertor on
http://www.handango.com that is free. It works great. Well back to the topic at hand,
1] Go to
http://www.youtube.com and find the video that you are looking for, once you find the video[s] highlight and copy the link of the page with the video on it and then..
2] Go to
http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php
***** (edit 09spet07, the link listed above has been acting up you can also go to)
http://youtubex.com/ and paste it in the box and press download.
3] It'll take a couple of seconds and you'll see an icon that says "download link" i'll then save it to your computer, and make sure you save it wih a .flv extension.
4] Then open up either Supervideo, blackberry video converter, or imtoo3gp. [which ever progrma you use] and convert the file to an .avi
and there you go
5]Finally you load the file onto your device, and yu've got cartoons, music videos, skits, etc on your device.
Hope this helps out a little bit!
*******ALSO, this is just a suggestion, it usually takes a couple of minutes to do all the steps, it's definately worth the time if you are really looking for a specific video. Usually longer videos, episodes from tv shows, music videos, etc are worth downloading, if you don't have enough time in your day or impatient then this isn't for you, if you have any questions PM me, i'll be glad to help
