Hey guys, Steve from CNN here, just thought I should clarify something here before you guys get too over excited...
The Bold is not yet available in Hong Kong yet. I went to the store to confirm (and to try the phone of course!) What the providers in HK are doing is they're taking pre-orders only. What happens is you put down a register or put down a deposit for the phone and then you are effectively put on a wait list in order of priority. The provider then calls you when your device is ready for pickup. This was the same for the iPhone here, this eliminates people lining up outside for a phone.
PCCW has a confirmed date for August 24th, while 1010 says "mid to end of August" which should mean roughly the same time for release.
