    Your favorite computer

Could be an oldie or a new one. Doesn't have to be the best or 'latest and greatest' to be a favorite. What was it and why is it your favorite.

My first computer was a C64, but my favorite was the Apple //c. It was the first time I went online and checked out bulletin boards, and it was the first computer I played games on (King's Quest). I loved the old Apple //s and I will always have fond memories of it.

I think it was an Apple IIe, we learned we could cut an extra notch on the disk to flip over. It was the start of what was to come for me, beat the hell out of a Wang with punch cards.

That was a classic. I believe my dad had one with dual cassette drives. Boy did it take forever to load anything on thing.

I remember the days on my Comodore-64 dual floppy's playing forgotton realms games.

Today my fav is my Inspiron XPS 1710, splurged when my then new laptop was stolen out of my car while out to dinner (the perils of being on call)

One of my Fav's was an Olivetti from back in 96. Don't remember the model, but it looked soo cool at the time and it was the first computer I actually had. That thing was rock solid, but weighed a ton.
