I will read all 5 Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy books this summer

Well I was screwed out of every summer job I had lined up... friggin economy. So now I'm just lounging around for the summer until I start grad school in late August. Video games are getting boring and everybody I know is pretty much busy all day, so I've decided to get some reading done. I've heard great things about this series so I'm personally challenging myself to get through the series by the end of august. That's 5 decent sized books. Wish me luck

Well people say I am bored. Good luck because that first movie based on the book, is the ONLY time I have ever fallen asleep @ the drive-in movie! Tried to watch it again with a friend and after it was over, I felt kinda like I did after seeing Napolion Dynamite, like I had lost brain matter while watching the movie.

    Best of Luck my friend

    and nice av!

Heh, I actually enjoyed the movie... well more than you I guess. I wouldn't buy it but I liked it enough. I do know that the books are nothing like the movie. As with most movies they totally butcher the source material.

Yeah, the av is my newest guitar. Schecter Hellraiser

I grew up with my brother being really into it. So when the movie came out a few years ago I was really curious what my older brother was so intrigued about. I probably saw the first 20 minutes of it and then fell asleep. Not a single thing about the movie intrigued me about it.

Read the Twilight series instead :P
Like the angel you are you laugh creating a lightness in my chest,
    Your eyes they penetrate me,
    (Your answer's always 'maybe')
That's when I got up and left.

I only read one of the Hitchhiker books. Years ago. Musta been the first one (?) I liked the read. When the movie came out, I thought it looked kinda silly so I never saw it.
