Well Roger and I were in high school in the early to mid 70s. And for me, old habits die hard. Zeppelin, Doobie Bros., Eagles, Heart, REO Speedwagon, ZZ Top, Allman Bros., Clapton, Bad Company, etc. Used to be a LOT of concerts in Little Rock, ahh, the good old days.

Same choice here, basically. Add Rod Stewart and some others like the BeeGees, even Diana Ross. As far as concerts, they were far and between in RSA, and usually 3rd rated British pop. There were embargoes at the time, so the only one or two I got to go to was when I came to Europe for vacation. That was an eye-opener! And a lot of fun!

Johnny Cash. ABBA. Anne Murray. ACDC, BTO, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, NSYNC.

2 of these are right. Can you guess which ones?

Rock, heavy metal, country, pop of the 40- late 80's Heart, plus the "Sparrow" Edith Piaf, plus many other great singers, add some really good Hollywood songs which I can't pronounce, and so many brilliant Chinese songs. The point is if the melody is good and the singer sings as if the mean it I will more than likely enjoy it.

Yep. And some Verdi too. Chopin at the end of the day is sweeter.

I should add Bollywood rather than Hollywood but then go back a few years and there were some classics. Add a few Operas like Puccini's Madame Butterfly, or Bizet's Carmen. of course I also enjoy Rock Operas like Tommy and Quadrophenia by the Who. Tchaikovsky is also good for late evening relaxation

those ain't my favorite...I'm picky with my classical, I prefer songs like: (you have probably never heard of them but here it goes) :everyday by carly commando, aria by Giovanni Allevi, divenire by Ludovico Einaudi, Requiem for a dream lux aeterna, watermark by enya, struggle for pleasure by wim mertens (absolutely brilliant) and especially bitter sweet symphony by the verve. look them up on YouTube if you don't know them, they are great music pieces.

Seriously all music but if you must know, Peter Frampton, Beatles, Steve Miller, Johnny Lang, Dianna Ross, Allman Brothers, any blues, Stevie Ray, a lot of country, Willie, Merle, and the boys. And yes I do like classicals as well. Other than Hip Hop and Heavy Metal there isn't much I won't listen to.

Found another excellent classical peace, it's called "adagio for strings by Samuel Barber"
