    "USE THE FORCE LUKE"

    LOL..

So after a few weeks of "nice" reminders...

    "Her"- Sorry babe- lost connection
"Me"- No worries, your phone SUCKS!
    "Her"- the call just dropped!?!?
"Me"- Yeah you service SUCKS TOO!

The Girlfriend is READY to drop her Verizon/ Treo 650 and get the Tmobile/Pearl when it comes out.

She was going to get the 8700g, but I showed her a pic of the pearl and she liked it.

And of course I will need the PEARL for a day or two to properly show her how it works...NOT that she can't figure it out for herself, I just want to play with it. LMAO!!!!

    VICTORY IS MINE!!!

(FYI- it also helped that her phone constantly freezes up. So she misses important calls. AND the fact that at her families home in S.I she has NO service at all. Plus spotty service in her home area )

Hey nothing wrong with a Treo so long as you're familiar with where the reset button is? Can also tell you my kid has a dandy of a time throwing my wife's old Treo around the play-room!

Make sure you give us a good update after you "show her how to us it."

She plans on selling her 650 on Ebay...I plan on using it as a hockey puck.

    Re: "USE THE FORCE LUKE"

    ***UPDATE***

The Girlfriend has purchased the 8100.. and LOVES IT. So far so good. All her email is up and running, BB Messenger is good to go. Web browsing and taking pics is sweet.

I like the trackball. Yes you have to get use to it, but it is very cool.

ONLY GRIPE-- She has a MAC!

Previously due to her old MAC and Crappy Treo..she could never regularly sync her Treo, so now we need to Sync Treo ONE LAST TIME, then sync Pearl. PocketMac doesn't have 8100 drivers yet and I am NOT a MAC person.

Has anyone made any inroads with this??

Check this- She wants to give her Treo to one of her friends?! WHY??? LOL- The phone is DOO DOO!!

I want it for either PAPER WEIGHT and/or Hockey Puck, please chime in and help a fellow pinstacker get a cool treo Hockey Puck

Honestly had the Pearl been available when I was in the process I probably would have gotten it myself. However I think I made a great decision with 8700g- I am a power user and the QWERTY is a major plus for me.
    Just my 2 Cents
