Good to see our TAX dollars hard at work. If that happened in '79..wonder what other creative ways U.S Gov't has used to effectivily use our money.

Actually they WERE hard at work, at least on NASA's standpoint. ALL spacestations have a life cycle, and when they cant be used anymore, they burn them up in the atmosphere so its not just floating out there, risking hitting something. Same thing happened to MIR when it was de-commisioned.

Yes, I would say thats a replica. Considering the fact that if a satellite goes bad, they just burn it up because of no way to bring it back, I would say they cant bring back something as big as a station

So that was the exact date .....

When I was a kid, I lived on a farm...which happened to be lined up with a Airport less than 10 miles away...

Late that night, something was hovering outside of my window....(I am not kidding)...with all these darn lights....

Me and my sister were spoked out of our minds......we ran (and screamed) to the other side of the house to get my parents and Aunt, and they all went outside towards the fields, and the darn thing was still there ! Hovering over....

Being near an airport, our house sits high on a hill, several times the airplanes would fly too low, because they are about to land.... and shake the entire house, busting up mirrors, so we certainly know what an airplane looks like...

To end this, my mother called the airport, of course they seen nothing, so we blamed it on Skylab falling.....I knew it was in the month and year, wasnt sure on the date...

There were too many eyes on that thing and let me tell ya it certainly was not an airplane....doubt it was skylab......

Ok, I'm done...this ends the UFO moment in my life.....
