So, playing around on google earth today...I know some of you have probably seen this before, but how many have heard of "The Palm Island" and the "The World" project in Dubai?

    Check this out:
    Man Made:

Read about the Palm Islands Here:
    http://www.palmsales.ca/new_properties/index.html

And read about The World Project Here:
The world project is pretty much the building of 300+ islands to resemble the world from the air...

This is probably the most ABSURD use of money I have ever seen...Although, it also is the coolest use of money at the same time.

I watched a thing on discovery channel about this, it's really neat where and how they are building up the sea floor to support the community they are building there.
One out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you.

Yeah, but how secure is that going to be? I mean, they are just bringing sand in from the desert and dumping it into the ocean...Don't get me wrong, I am sure they are doing all sorts of stuff underwater to help the construction, but it will be interesting to see if an earthquake ever hits near that area, if all that sand will just slide right away, or if the island eventually will start to sink like Venice is.
