    Starbucks vs. Dunkin Donuts

This is very off topic but I'm curious for all you coffee drinkers, do you prefer Starbucks or dunkin donuts coffee?

Personally I prefer dunkin but seeing how there's only a Starbucks where I work I will get that but it has to be the blonde roast, anything else is way too strong.

At home we normally just get Folger's or Maxwell house, depends on which is cheaper. We splurged and got the black silk this last time.

Starbucks is way too strong for me, and I don't like flavored coffee. Haven't had Dunkin for along time. Folgers is what we drink at home. Classic Roast mainly, Black Silk is not bad for a change now and again.

We also have a Keurig and I agree no store bought can compete but we just can't afford buying k-cups all the time. Not to mention how much coffee we drink, while I was pregnant it was ideal cause I could fix decaf or tea etc and jay could still have his regular.

I usually don't do flavored coffee just flavored creamers.

Yep, Keurig is where it's at. I like Gevalia and most of the DonutShop's coffees. Dunken is too watered down for me and Starbucks can be too strong to drink a whole cup. When at Starbucks I usually just get an espresso. I do like the blond roast from Starbucks also. K-Cups and from the store.

I drink 1 cup of coffee a day now, I think about years ago when I was working as a cook and sucked down the urn coffee that had been brewing all day. No wonder I was so wired. Oh was that the coffee?

While Starbucks are everywhere here in Calgary we also have Urban Bean, 2nd Cup, Good Earth, Tim Hortons in addition to some excellent small coffee shops, so it is very difficult to keep my habit down to 2 to 3 cups a day! . Oh to be young again when I could drink my fill of caffeine with zero issues, of course I would have quickly gone broke.

So in answer to your question in the US for a basic cup I would probably choose McCafe in preference then Starbucks + a doughnut from Dunkin

There is nothing greater than Dunkin Donuts coffee...

After a cup of Dunkin, all I can think about is the next cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts.

Dunmkin or Starbucks doesn't made any difference for me as i do visit both places. It depends which took me less time to reach or what come in the way. I am ok with both
