He speaks of change. What change specifically. Not all change is good. He could mean that he is going to turn this democracy into a socialist state. That's not good. He is running on the universal heathcare ticket, but there is NO WAY that this country can support universal healthcare.

He also said that the first thing that he is going to do once he gets in office is raise taxes. Does anyone here think that raising taxes is going to get us out of this economic slowdown? I dont think so.

So instead of beliveing the rhetoric that Obama is spewing, do a little due diligence and see that all he is a sly taking. socialist that has not idea what he is doing.
If you read study and look at his policies then you would find that just like McCain most of your statement is false. I am a Republican and see John McCain as the one who will drive our country down more so than Obama.

I'm generally just ever so on the republican side of things, but I think I'm going to go with Obama on this one and here's why.

My biggest reason is that Obama is a smooth talker. This may mean bad things as in he can lie better, but all politicians lie so that's not a problem. The thing is our economy is faltering because it's based on the confidence in our system and the american dollar. Obama can smooth things out with the public to boost their confidence, and control the fear that many are facing today making things worse. People just take what the media says and runs with it, and our country is falling apart because of it.

Here in ireland the biggest bookmaker Paddy Power has paid out on Obama as the next President. I personally hope he does win as the world perception of America has fallen massively since Bush has been in charge.

Why do you say that? What have you heard about him that hasn't come from a biased source?

His Pastor, whom Obama said himself, has been his guide and leader for the past 5 or more yrs. Strangely enough Obama has since denounced him, I challenge you to check the man out. He is very racially motivated, where my pastor has said and I believe that if you have a problem with race, you won't like Heaven, because there will be every race n tongue there.

At this time in the polls bush was down by 11 points against john kerry, mccains only down by four and closing the gap. I think voting early is not good since anything can happen between now and election day.

I am not voting for Obama cause of his religious backround as well. He must think that all of us are stupid cause we all know that he spent 20 years in a church that was full of racists and his pastor married him too. He is a liar.

Its funny cause I got in a huge argument at work with a guy (african american) who just keeps saying "we need a black president to straighten this country out". I finally got sooo pissed of that I was like....dude, his mother was white and you are more of what your mother is, so he is more white then black. He got really mad cause he is one of many that are just voting for him cause he is "black", and didnt even know his mother was white hahaha . I told him it doesnt matter what color....you need to vote on what they stand for. I personally dont care for McCain either but I wont vote for obama as I stated above.

    happy voting....!
This is my Blackberry. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Blackberry is useless. Without my Blackberry I am useless.
