    Finally, someone who understands.
The above commentary is for entertainment purposes only. If this was actual joke the tone you just heard would have been followed by emergency response information. It's supposed to be fun people.

It's already illegal to HOLD a mobile (cell) in the UK while driving. It'll cost you £60 ($120) and 3 point son your licence. (you have 12 points you can use, if you get caught speeding you usually get a £60 fine and 3 points. when the points are gone you lose your licence)(unless you're a football player, in which case you have infinite points!)

^^ lol at the football player comment...Barry the points are the same here in the states cept' I dont think anyone has "YET" the holding a phone while driving will get you a ticket law. Soon I'm sure....

I will text/email when there is not a lot of people on the road. What we need is a bluetooth compatible program that will recognize everthing i'm saying and then tell it who to send it too. That would be awesome IMO.

It is dangerous and I'm guilty of doing it...I've nearly had a few close calls myself
a ban might be good but might not stop people. They will hide while doing it.

I read somewhere that using your phone while driving has the same effect on your concentration levels as being DUI.

Texting must be even worse !! Dont do it !!

Would you like to live with the guilt if you caused a death ?? I am sure nothing is that urgent that it can,t wait a few minutes until it is safe to do so.

Given that, certainly over here, call plans are so cheap, with so many inclusive call minutes, it must be easier, cheaper and safer to call someone using a handsfree/headset than sending a text message. And surely if it's that important that you communicate with someone ASAP, talking is far easier?!?!?!
