    I notice that when I explore my external HD there's a folder "bin" - with a bunch of crap I dont recognize in it - can I safely delete this folder?

    Is it a hidden folder or have you maybe installed any applications to the external that might be using it?

    It could be driver files if your hd is plug and play. If you delete it the hd might not be able to be read by a computer that doesn't have the right drivers installed.
    Life is like a movie, you've sat through half of it and its sucked so far, it probably isn't gonna get great right at the end to make it all worthwhile. you shouldn't get blamed for walking out early
