her body posistioning and arch is obviously going clockwise...

OK so you are seeing her outstretched leg as being her right one. Try seeing it as her left one !

    Re: ...on Dancer

How about looking away, visualizing a counterclockwise turning, and looking back? Does that work?

    Re: ...on Dancer

finally! with a little practice i got her to swirl any way i please.

to beat this i look away so you no longer see the arms, leg and back angles. but just so that you still see her rotating leg motion. concentrate and flip the leg motion in reverse. Once you do that start to slowly shift your eyes back on the monitor.

Its a pretty detailed figure to play mind tricks on. Our brain automatically calculates legs, back, arms next position and it all makes sense when its already moving in one direction.. so its difficult to force the brain to reverse all those things at once.

    her foot is going clockwise...

That's great, Tasha! It's called being balanced, both left- and right- brain.

(So why do they call me UNbalanced?! )

    Re: ...on Dancer

actually if you just keep watching it and stay focused on the dancer you see that she switches directions. you don't have to look away just keep your eyes peeled. after i think about 90seconds it switches, easiets way to keep track watch her feet, her right foot that is planted will make her turn counter clockwise and then the leg will switch in mid turn to her left foot.....its not a trick it's just how the image was designed. its on a timer so each person will see something differently.
