First movie I ever saw was Star Wars. My dad took me to see it, and my hereo was Darth Vader. My father passed away around a year later.

When the boxed ate came out years ago I bought it. Then Iwas recently divorced and had my boys only for an afternoon. I think Hunter was 3-4 and Ethan was 2.

O ddidn't think they'd be interested but was hoping they'd like it a little. The scene where Vader comes through the blasted door at the beginning my youngest was on the couch hiding behind me. He saw Vader and asked who it was as. I told him and he replied "He's cool". My oldest was glued to the screen the whole movie.

We've watched them all together, and they know why its a special movie to me and now all of us. Hell, I even have Vader tattooed on my whole forearm.

As for others, Clint Eastwood (politics aside), and anything that is "crash, boom, bang".

Bomber! that's a hard life, sorry to hear that ...gee...well you have my condolences JF.

but back to the thread, which do you prefere between the Death Star and Star Destroyer ?

cooley you may be glad to know that the Star Wars franchise was purchased by Disney, which means that there will be many new episodes released, though I hope that Chebacca does not start resembling goofy and micky mouse as yoda.

oh and clone wars is a terrible rip off of star wars, well that's my opinion anyway.

and I certainly hope they didn't just buy the franchise to build a new ride in the disney theme parks.

I haven't had a hard life, I've had difficult situations. Some I've managed and some have managed me.

My memories of star wars aren't tied to who owns the franchise. Honestly could care less.

just saw a little bit of JURASIC PARK, my thoughts:...

"Do these people know what a gun is used for ?"
"Why do some of the main characters scream whenever they see a meat eating dinosaur ? (won't that alert the dinosaur that they are there)"

"why do people have no sense of fear ? eg, going close to dinosaur eggs, ain't they scientists/wild life park-rangers so they atleast should know that animals get aggressive over their young (eggs)"

also "what is this obsession with dinosaurs looking through windows ?"

    and my biggest thought yet...

"how do raptors know how to open doors using a door handle ?"

+ 1 roger, but for this level of "fiction" it gets the rating:...fake, I'm sorry its just too "fiction" for it to make any sense.

I'm sorry it was just not thought out very well.
