military and students get MS Office for cheap

I know there are many here that are in the military or college. I found a few links that LEGALLY let you purchase Office 2007 for very cheap.

    ARMY (*other services see bottom):

    Go to: http://www.usarak.army.mil/main/HPPurchase.htm
log in with your AKO username/password and it will give you the information you need.
Office 2007 Enterprise OR Office 2004 for Mac = $22 shipped (it let me go back in a second time and other the other).

    College Students:

    You can go here: http://www.microsoft.com/education/ultimatesteal.mspx
you will need your .edu email address, and have a valid college ID showing you are enrolled (just in case they ask for proof - otherwise they will charge you like $680 the site says). It was only $60 - download option, just over 500mb.

Both methods are very easy to go through. Last night I did it for both and got Office 2007 Enterprise, Office 2007 Ultimate, and Office 2004 for mac... all just $104, cheaper than Office 2007 student/teacher edition at Best Buy (which is $150 + tax).

Info that might help for other branches.
    Air Force:
Log into the Air Force Portal and search for "Microsoft Home Use Program". I found there are several program codes you could use.

    For the Navy/Marines:

Nice find. But before I pay $60 for it, what is a Perpetual license? Is it only a trial for a certain period, they mention that in the link.

pulled this from yale law site:
"as opposed to having a finite term (eg 10 or 15
yrs), a perpetual license has an infinite term into perpetuity."

basically just a fancy name for lifetime license - it said it on one of the .mil sites I was on forget which one.

If you are a college student go to academicsuperstore.com you can get Vista Home Premium (upgrade) for $70... if I recall there was no tax or shipping fee.

For Army you can search for "Army EPP" (stands for employee purchase program) - it will be just like this Home Use Program. The Army has a code you enter and you can purchase Vista Home Premium upgrade I think it was around 107. Haven't seen it for other branches yet.

Sorry was at Sears (gotta love 90% clearance) lol.
I got the email within 5 minutes (assume you mean the one with product key). If you do not get the email you can go to: http://www.findmyorder.com/ then enter your order number and the password you setup, then click on "request a return" and it tells you the product key (just do not hit SUBMIT)

I got a copy from Microsoft for $19.99 and it's the full full version. They had a deal at my work saying as long as I'm an employee I could have a copy with 2 keys. I went to microsoft.com entered my code, paid my $19.99 and less than a week later it was in my hands directly from MS. Now that's a good deal.
