Hikng in Virginia today...
Dear Mom & Dad: (some of you may know them as Cherri & Hayden)
I went hiking today along the Appalachian Trail and the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia today.
I had planned to go to this neat place called The Devil's Marble Yard. Its a full day's hike up and back, but unfortunately I overslept because of this silly internet site I stayed up half the night reading. I took care of that problem. I hired a lawyer, and I'm suing somebody. Not sure how it'll turn out, but I will make the net safe for insomniacs in my lifetime, I promise. My chances are pretty good, I think. Here is my lawyer:
After I can retire on the earnings from my winnings in this case, I'll dedicate my life to ending the plague of our time: adolesence. That's right, you heard me. If I have my way, your cute little 11 year old will just skip right out to age 21, the approximate age that people start to realize that they don't know everything, don't have all the answers, and generally stop being a PITA to the rest of society.
Wow, did I just jack my own thread or what? Okay, lets crank the wheel of this bus over, see if it will get back on the highway with minimal loss of life (and interest in reading to the end).
Not sure who this guy is, but he was a beautiful greeting to the start of my trip:
Sphinx Moth, maybe?
See those chimney rocks on the other side of the river? We're headed there.
Looking down from the rocks, towards the spot where I took the first picture. See that telephone pole next to the road? That was where I was.
The view looking up river.
The Geocache we found while we were up there.
So there was part of my Sunday afternoon. Enjoy your evening, thanks for reading this thread in the pinstack crackberry cafe. Soon to be known as the LaTuFuStacks, thanks to the legal settlement.
