Don't use the Bluetooth mouse Erica but I've had good success with the wireless Logitech USB mouse.....I insert the USB thingy (about the size and shape of a thumb drive) into the back port of my laptop and then the mouse connects through that device.....I've been using it for about 1 1/2 years now and the mouse itself requires one AA battery......I'm on my 2nd battery in that period of time....I've used several different versions of mice and this one has worked best for me......maybe I need to step up to Bluetooth.

Grrrrr!!!! Just discovered that this thing has no graphics card according to my diagnostic report. I'm gonna pull my hair out if I continue having issues with HP notebooks!!

Sometimes they are internal, the HP i was just checking out came with an intel 4500
