You know what grinds my gears....
Cellphone customers who think just cause they pay there bill every month that they are entitled to what ever they want when they go into a store , they want new free phones with no contract they want free batteries and chargers and there logic "I pay my bill evey month" it makes me sick , I just want to explode evry time I hear that line from a customer.its like come on have some common sence. Of course if you break it you need to buy a new one....that's what grinds my gears

People who think they know everything about everything. They're the type that read about something from a Google search for 10 minutes and decide they're an expert on whatever topic is at hand. They're convinced they're more knowlegeable than you... even though you've spent years studying the matter.

that happpend to me , I have been a tech supprot manager for some time and it grinds my gears when a customer who has had ther phone for 3 weeks has the nerve to come in to my place of business with a problem and when I tell them what's wrong and the resolution they say no"I don't think that's what was wrong, are you familiar with this phone" like reading the manual makes you more of an expert then some one who has been through hours of training and weeks of hands on testing befor it even hits the market ... Yea mr customer maybe your 3 weeks makes you a guru.....I hate that

    Re: "Grinds My Gears"....

I can't decide if this one grinds my gears or amuses me...

Lady came in one of my branches today, complaining to the manager that she was closing her checking account because the bank kept "letting" unauthorized people withdraw money from her account, and it was causing her to get hit with NSF fees. The manager pulled up the account, and looked at the transaction history to see what was happening. All of the debits causing the problem were Paypal withdrawals. When she was shown this information, her response was "those are valid". Okay, so tell us again what the problem is? "The Bank keeps charging me $35.00 every time I access my account."

Should I laugh? Or should it grind my gears that people with zero life skills are allowed to waste other people's time and make it "your" problem?

Some more things that grind my gears:

People who get a wee bit of power and then go on a huge power trip....I've noticed this especially with people in the military who have one stripe over you, and people on the internet who have some e-power....just goes right to their head and then the idiocy begins lol.

Fake people who pretend to be something they're not.

Bitter jealous people who cannot separate their personal feelings from the way they treat people at their jobs.

Cashiers who lay my change on the counter. Every time this happens, I stand there and wait until I hear, "Is there something else you need?" and my reply is usually something on this order:

I need you to recognize that when you told me how much this shaving cream, Advil, and bag of pork rinds were I took the money out of my wallet and placed it in your hand. What I need, and what proper decorum dictates is that you pick up the money, my change, that you laid on the counter and place it into MY hand. And I am not moving until you do.
