Personally, a find like that shouldn't be kept to one family. It would be such a waste if it wasn't purchased by someone that would know every intricate detail in getting it back to its prestine state when it was first purchased. Something like this would go beyond money.

The young man knows the rules, and the old man will enforce them!

museums buy the show pieces too!

either way keeping it in the family would be better... build your own museum and display it there

Everyone says keep it but has anyone considered if they have the means or the know how to restore it? What good would the car be if it was not restored to showroom condition? A car that valuable does not deserve a half a*s job and if you weren't financially able to restore the vehicle correctly you would be doing it an injustice. That to me would be an insult to the automotive history world. This is not about how much money you can fetch off a car. There is someone out there that can bring it back to its priceless state. If you weren't able to do it wouldn't you want to give someone else that opportunity?
