normally they lay on each other too.

there's also a chocolate lab in the house, but she's camera shy.

We had a German Shepard growing up. Great watch dog, extremely friendly and loveable. I love German Shepards but they come with a bad rep sometimes because they are very wary of strangers, but then, that is what they're bred for... protection.

    We have a golden retriever.

She's goofy and just a puppy, but she's extremely friendly and loveable, just have to get past the first two years without killing her.

That red-nosed is the exact color I'm looking for!!! What do they call that? Fawn?

Awwwww. Normally, I'm not a mush, but dogs are highlighting a side of me I haven't felt before!

Do you have kids or planning to? You should consider a beagle. They are great with family, children, adults, hunting, a great companion. Here is my lemon beagle, Mona Lisa.

She is such a great dog.

Pets in the building that I live in? No, they don't. But, people have them anyway. Regardless, I wouldn't get a dog while living in an apartment. With the dog, the apartment will get even smaller really quickly.

I'm doing my research now so that I know what I want down the road. When either I get a bigger place or my sister moves out. (Yes, I live with my sister).

Chewy loves the water and goes with me everywhere...He loves to be outdoors and is also content being indoors vegging in front of the tube...He thinks he's human!

I have trained him to do numourous pointless tricks (one that includes hitting a door stopper over and over when he hears someone score in the hockey game on tv...very useful when I'm in the washroom and miss the goal...he's there to tell me...a real party pleaser too!)

The only negative I would say is that he loses hair...but it's in clumps so I don't mind so much.

Let us know what kind of Dog you decide on...Good luck!
I used to have two Aussies several years ago. They were great. I have a Standard Poodle now, as I developed allergies to cats and dogs.
