Surely me use of spelt was correct as it was used in the past tense. I'm sure there is something in here which I also got wrong.

oh boy. please don't tell me you're drinking the news media kool-aid too. A "weak" dollar is not a bad thing. 2/3 of the world economy rests outside the US Borders. A lower dollar means our exports are much more competitive. Its why despite all the negative press about how a "weakening dollar" is creating havoc our net exports continue to grow.

And the converse of a weak dollar by definition means that other currencies will appreciate relative to it. So Canadians and every other nation out there should (and rightfully are) not happy about the dollar's current trend.

Within reason, and so far thats where we are, the dollar "weakening" is a good thing.

Um... pretty sure 'spelt' is not a word... well in Canada it isn't... the past tense of spell is spelled.

    Re: Canadians Rock!!

Well should explain why I have no issue with my spelling. Went to university as a mature student and in a lecture a prof spelled a word wrong. It was pointed you to him and he answered he was an engineer and had more important things on his mind then spelling. And if you think my spelling is bad you should see me writing. Since that day I worked to becoming a engineer which I done and now have just being made a directorr of the company I work for.
I will never learn to spell, ever.

Is that not a bit like work?
Will I get a golf star if I get my spelling right?

I just HAD to bump this thread, for a "forgotten classic band"... their covers of "Sweet Jane" and "Helpless" were better than the originals:

Cowboy Junkies... with unforgettable Maria McKee.
