Attention Stackers: New IRC Pinstack Chat!

The new Pinstack IRC Chat is now open! Feel free to jump on in! Thanks to jrockett, Sn1p3r and MistahQ for helping out with tutorials and putting this all together. Thanks to Hayden for giving it the thumbs up.

There is an excellent free mobile app for IRC called jmIrc that works great and only uses about 35% percent of the battery for 10 hours of heavy use.

There is also an extension for FireFox called ChatZilla which works very well.

A third option is also available in mIRC for those who do not use Firefox.

All programs are free and easy to use.

Chatzilla doesn't seem to be working. I get his:

[ERROR]ReferenceError: irc is not defined

Try this

In chatzilla try this. Once it is installed open a new tab and type this in the address bar or click on the link:

irc://irc.absurd-irc.net/stackchat

Try this:http://jmirc.sf.net/jmIrc.jad. Note the capital "I" in the second jmIrc.

Just worked for me.
