    American Made Cars...

One of my salesmen pointed this out to me today, and just thought I would share.

We had a batch of 5 Saturn Sky's come in (Yeah, the local Saturn dealerships are still pissed because still have more than them).

Anyways, my salesman calls me, asks me to come downstairs, so I do so.

Walk out to the service garage where 2 of them are sitting next to each other, and he says "Can you figure out whats wrong here?".

Walk to the back of the car, and where the SATURN symbol is supposed to be, its the PONTIAC symbol. WTF?

So the car is all Saturn, with the back emblem off of the Pontiac Solstice...GREAT job by the QA Department letting that one slip out.

But believe it or not, it's not rare that cars come from the factor with BLATENT errors...We had an $80,000 Mercedes once that came with two different interior door panels (Drivers And Passenger). One was BLACK while the other was TAN..How the hell did THAT happen?

Oh well, just wanted to share that...

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~saw the same thing with a Mitsubishi 3000gt and a dodge stealth... It had everything saying 3000gt but had the dodge emblem and stealth decklid... Probably a Friday...

A little small fact ice heard about mustangs, not sure how true but its interesting

The first few years of soft top mustangs that wher produced wher because of various flaws or mistakes made in roofs of mustangs so on the ones they messed up they just converted it to a soft top and raised the price... Interesting? As I said not sure how true it is but it leaves room for thought...
