Anyone else experiencing or have seen this issue. We sporadically receive to our support email address from our distributed blackberry's (7200's, 8100's and 8800's) emails that the title is Unlocked and within the body of the email it states the Name, Email Address, PIN, Date and Time of the user assigned to that device. There is no correlation to time, user, date, device or use. We have contacted Blackberry support and they cannot seem to find an answer either. This has been going on for quite some time.
Just a post to see if anyone else is seeing this

Reason: fixed spelling errors
Is there any common 3rd party applications on the devices?
Its a security function. Its called the Duress Password. The users are actually typing in their password incorrectly....sort of.The duress pasword is the normal unlock password except the very first character is typed in as the last and the second character becomes the first. For example... Ifc the normal password is 123123, the duress password is 231231. What's happening is your users are typing their password off by one character. The email your receiving is simply the notification of the duress function being used...most likely, the user doesn't even realized they typed it wrong because the BB will unlock.

you can find this in Password Policy Group - Duress Notification Address
