    Tricky question - please help.

    I have a BB7130 in a BES/Exchange environment.

Does anybody know how to start over/reset reconciliation of messages?

By accident I had my BB date/time set to some time in the future which made the BB purge all my email. After correcting the date/time I have not been able to get my outlook email back in my BB, not even with the desktop manager software.

I would like to find out how I can update my BB email to reflect what is in my exchange mailbox, without doing a new enterprise activation.

    Thank you in advance.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~do an enterprise activation and set the perpopulation to as far back as you want you BlackBerry to reflect. The olde you go the longer activation takes.

There is no harm in enterprise activation why are you afraid to do it. Admins use it all the time as a quick fix for many issues with data sync'ing

    enterprise activation

Thank you Jason et al for the answers.

The main reason to want to avoid the enterprise activation is that it requires admin intervention and I would prefer that it could be first line support or user DIY.

Thanks and hoping for more comments.

Any reason your first line support can't be given the capability to set an activation pw?

Use Desktop Manager to perform a wired activation.

Question Re: Tricky question - please help.

    Dear d fisher et al

Have you ever tried to sync messages using the desktop manager? As far as I can see, messages are the only type of data that you are not given full control of.

Tried the enterprise admin, but this also does not resync the messages. Looks like the only way is to delete the user on the BES, but this just can not be right can it?
