    Service Book file reference:

Being in the position of troubleshooting my users issues sometimes we are quick to just resend the service book and hoping for the best not knowing which file might be corrupt. My associate came back from Blackberry training a couple of months back and I use his booklet for referencing some of my issues so I thought I might hand off some of his notes to you about what some of those files reference to in the service book under advanced options.

    [Browser Config] - Browser settings

    [IPPP] - Browser Transfer Protocol

[SYNC] - Wireless sync/ Wireless backup (4.0 up)

    [MDS] - MDS Studio Applications

    [CMIME] - Outgoing Email/ Attachment/ Wireless Reconciliation

    [BBIM] - Corp Istant Messaging

    [ALP] - Address Lookup

    [CICAL] - Wireless Calendar

[OTASL] - Over The Air Software Loading (not available on all O/S)

This has helped me a lot in resolving some of the issues with my users so I wanted to pass this along to you guys. If there is anything I missed or may be incorrect on please feel free to add on to this thread. I'm here to learn as much as I am here to pass on what I know!
