Question Sent items show up late

I'm admin for a BES Express with around 15 users. One of them has an intermittent problem with sent email; she keeps the default view of showing sent messages in the inbox. Most are fine but occasionally it can take a day or two for messages to show up here.
The most recent occurrence was a mail sent to an external address at 4pm on Friday. Outlook, Exchange and our mail gateway show the message as having left at 4pm, the recipient replied promptly but the message did not appear in her list of mail until 0926 on Saturday. This has been happening now on two handsets, so I assume is not an issue limited to a particular BB model.
This is an intermittent but irritating issue that I don't see mentioned on any similar forums. Can anyone help me please?

I'm going to move this to the Server Admin thread, which is more appropriate. Hope you'll get some help there.

Not that I have a clue but found something similar but it was on Oracle.
If you can't find help or are interested ill dig it up.

Think I just searched for "late emails on BES". Was first result.
Didn't post cause I'm not IT, and didn't know if it'd be relevant.

This site has an email exchange between an admin and user. Don't know if useful but seems one person was able to solve by battery pull. Its near middle.

That's the one I originally found.

    Hope it helps.

Thanks again, but these seem to be aimed at devices getting no mail at all; this user is getting the vast majority, just missing out on the occasional sent notification. In terms of the battery pull, she's on to her second device unfortunately!

I've tracked down the following from the MAGT log on the day the original message was sent, just after she sent it from Outlook:

    Code:
    [40693] (02/10 16:01:13.575):{0x2A50} {user@domain.co.uk} Message moved rescan completed
    [30247] (02/10 16:01:14.220):{0x2B00} Server stats - Msgs: Forwarded 251880, Sent 9758, Pending 1, Expired 0, Filtered 0, Forwarded/Min 0, Sent/Min 0
The following appears in the next day's MAGT just after the sent message pops up in her handset:
    Code:
    [30233] (02/11 09:26:07.633):{0x2A38} {user@domain.co.uk} New message was found in SentItems, EntryId=171255

Does this shed any light for anyone?

I have seen similar with our BES 4.1.7. Every now and then we have one or two out of 200 BES users are getting email delay to their device. Pull battery is only resolve on the client so to correct from BES side, I just restart the "Blackberry Router" and "Blackberry Dispatcher" services, however, I normally restart all four main BES services using a batch. This resolve my issue users everytime.

    batch file content:
    Echo off
    cls
net stop "blackberry router" && net start "blackberry router"
net stop "blackberry Dispatcher" && net start "blackberry Dispatcher"
net stop "BlackBerry SyncServer" && net start "BlackBerry SyncServer"
net stop "blackberry Policy Service" && net start "blackberry Policy Service"
