Removing Carrier Browser without hurting MMS

    Hi guys,

Apologies if this has been asked before or if its fairly simple, but I haven't found an answer for it yet.

I found out that "Allow other browser services" needs to be set in an assigned IT Policy to allow MMS messages. Unfortunately, enabling that allows the Carrier Browser to appear, which we don't want users to have access to. We would prefer that they use our internal browser, routing through the BES.

I thought that maybe setting "Allow IBS Browser" to False would remove it, but that hasn't been the case.

Anyone know a way I get get around this?

    Thanks in advance,

    Andy

Not sure about the MMS side of things, since I only have an 8830, but in our case setting "Alow IBS Browser" to "False" does drop the carrier browser but not the internal browser.
