    Remote BES Connection to Exchange

    Hello all,

I am pretty new to all of this and have recently setup an Exchange 2003 box with the free BES that RIM gives you for buying a phone. I have the server running off of a dynamic IP and have recently been added to 12 blacklists. I can understand why they are doing this on dyn IPs, just sucks I am a victim of it. Now I also have been using Exchange My Mail and was thinking about dumping them and converting over to my own server. No luck.

My question is this, is there any way to continue to run my BES but connect to the Exchange My Mail servers to pull my email and then push it out to my phone? I would like to stop paying EMM 20 bucks a month on top of my already inflated 44.99 I give to VZW.

    TIA,
    JD

No not yet... Well now that I think about it. If I create a new IMAPI and point it to my hosted exchange server would that work. Now I just need to figure out how to dump the old IMAPI file and configure a new one. Sounds like money in the bag to me... Hmmmm...

Is it called MAPI or IMAPI... MAPI sounds more like it. IMAPI sounds like I am using some weird protocal to hook my ipod to my AOL account and pull mail.
