I have found some comments on this issue, but seems like there is no final conclusion. Are my personal email accounts (that I set up on the BIS RIM website) private from my company's BES server? Does my company's BES server log or archive incoming / outgoing emails from my personal email accounts? Thanks... TNBlacberryGuy |

I have four personal email accts setup on my BB. I also have monitor the BES logs, so far I have not able to trace. My understanding was that BIS sends directly to your device. However, it may be possible depending on IT Policy and/or the Level of the Logging. ~via smartphone~ |

If it hits your BB, it's logable on the BES, period.

| BIS email not seen on BES Hello MotoUp. I don't agree, I have not been able to see any logs or records of my BIS accounts anywhere on my BES. My understanding is that BIS email is routed via RIM infrastructure, and your carrier's wireless network. It does not hit the BES, or your corp. infrastructure. |

You may have to turn that logging on, but the ability to log them is there. I'll see if I can find it...

This is the point, your BIS accounts are not on the BES. From the BES you can probably disable any other email accounts, but there are no logs for your BIS accounts, since they are not processed or syncronised via the BES. |
