I don't know about your 6280 since it's a pretty old device but my old 7290 I sold it to a friend that wanted to try BB before buying one
I'm french canadian so I can also help you in french, just PM me
UNLESS it is for a BETA OS, it's at your own risk and I won't support it

I didn't even know if the Mobitex network was still working. Let me check what I've got and I'll what (if anything) I can do. I only had a couple (literally) of them, and if they are tagged as corporate assets, I probably can't do anything. (Yes, they can sit in the bottom of a file drawer forever, but if they still "belong" to my employer, I can't get rid of them.)

I'll be back in the office on Monday and I'll take a look. (I have to admit that my original offer was meant as a joke, I didn't think anyone would really want one!)

    Re: old devices

I think the blackberry buyback and the Nextel buyback programs suck chicken butt - I had to send back my brand new Nextel 7520 or 7250 whatever its called 3 times in 2 months!!!! And then I wanted a free upgrade to the 7100i and they sed no that I wouild have to buy the 7100 and only get a.lousy 50 dollars for the 7520 and I checked RIM's buyback and same crap ... I was so disgusted with the handling of my situation and lack of professional integrity that I payed the 250 and cancelled my 6 year relationship with sprint/Nextel-i tried the sidekick and MDA but all's well that ends well cuz I got my beautiful Pearl the best product RIM has made to date and I'm back with tmobile who was my first cell phone company way back when they started as voicestream. And I couldn't be happier. All that just to say that it sucks when your "done" with a blackberry.... But then again there's always e-bay I guess hehehe
