What's new? RIM keeps an outage..

It looks like ATT is back up again. I just got bombarded with emails and just checked internet and its good!

I do not agree. How can a system this large "go down"??!! Redundancy should be in place to prevent these outages. I can recall at least 4-5 times over the past year that their system has quit operating. We BB users are quick to point out the shortfalls of Windows, but seldom do I hear a complaint about the down times at RIM.

I can confirm that I cannot connect to my MSN messneger nor can I receive txt msgs here in the twin cities. T-mobile is the carrier.

EDIT: I can only make and receive calls on my 8320. All other data services are down. =(

My PIN blast to my user base just went through - this maybe a good sign of some data service restored. Still NO email messages though...

So you would rather deal with WM devices locking up, being incredibly slow, and not having a uniform OS base?

RIM has 1 or 2 outages a year, they last a few hours, and everything works just fine. Its a growing pain.

Dont let the door hit you, not on the way out, but when you come back in.

LOL, Well said Bryan, I'll take a couple of outages a year versus lockups. No complaints here. Of course it's annoying, but a MILLION times better than the alternative.

Were you here last year in the US? We had more than 1 or 2. I love bberry's man, but the outages are just too frequent. We went from having 0 outages in the day, to 1 or 2 every month almost....
