    Question No Device Email After SP5 Install

    Advertisement

    Hello,

    I'm running BES 4.1 and I installed SP5 on 2003/Echange last night. The install seemed to go flawlessly but now, no devices are receiving email. They can send to desktops fine but not receive....I've chacked device settings and they are all still set to recieve messages. Any ideas on fix? Thanks!

    Are there any pending messages on the BES for the users?

    No pending data packets but I have 2 messages failed. Also, It looks like users can send from device to their desktop but not to other desktops or devices.

    They seem to have all started. I tried deleting my BB and readding it with no success. The logs seem to be fine as if messages are being processed with the exception of the alert log which is full of:

    [30000] (05/08 15:45:54.922):{0x1B24} Alarm::ThreadProc: Received an alarm message
    [30000] (05/08 15:46:54.843):{0x1BB4} EventLog::ThreadProc: Received notification, processing...
    [30000] (05/08 15:46:54.843):{0x1BB4} [Alarm::ActivateAlarm] Queuing alarm: <N/A> | BlackBerry Controller (Application Event Log on DAPHNE) | 05/08/2008 15:46:54 (AFFF4FB6) -> EventID:afff4fb6'DAPHNE' agent 1: will not restart - reached the maximum of 10 restarts per 24 hours

    If it's not already obvious, I have little to no hands on xp with BES
