    New to Blackberry

    I am the BES admin at a company and we are starting to push these out to our users. We keep getting the same question asked of us. Why when we delete from outlook it does not delete on the Blackberry. Is there something we can do for these users?

    Yes. Most likely it is the setting on the device. The default setting under email options, email reconciliation, is set to handheld. Change it to mailbox & handheld.

    Thanks for the warm welcome and I have changed the setting on the device. It is when I delete it on the mailbox it does not delete the message from the handheld. When I delete on the handheld it does delete on the Mailbox though.

    THis is usually an issue on the BES with permissions. If you have T-Support, they are very helpful walking you through the issue. If not, double check the BESAdmin account security settings against the BES docs.

    Thanks for the help, it was a combo problem. For user A it was a permission problem and for user B the problem was that he was using the SHIFT Key while deleting in Outlook.
