multiple Email Accounts/Calendars on One BB

    Hi again

    Here's one...

I'd like to get two or more corporate email accounts working on one Blackberry device.

I've already got my corporate emails and two personal (Gmail & Yahoo) going to it no problem. But I've not tried the two work email accounts yet.

I'm the BES admin so I can 'play' with it to test stuff out.

Also, in wondering if it possible to get two sepeate work calendars on one device too.

    I've got mainly 8310s & 8900s.

    Any advice?

    Thanks.

    Hi Gman,

You're not going to be able to do that if they are on the same BES. If you had a separate BES configuration, you -could- get a 2nd email account setup.

I documented this hack about a year ago on this forum where I setup a second email account on the same BB device. Search for my posts.

Even though it's possible, I wouldn't recommend it except for those willing to experiment. It's a simple enough procedure, but you get into murky waters quickly.

I would use OWA to get 1 and BES to get other. RIM does not support activating 1 device on 2 BES Servers.

    I agree with you.

I would do the same thing. One BIS, one BES.

If pop3 is enabled to the outside then you could set up BIS - but that doesn't give you the calendar. Webmail is fine, but not terribly efficient.

In short there is no good answer.
