Mail moved to subfolder by server rule, will Blackberry see it?

One of our employees is not getting mail which is reassigned to a sub-folder under inbox by a server-side rule they have setup. My question is simply whether the Blackberry will sync such e-mail, or whether it only sees mail which arrives in the inbox?

If i am not mistaken, No it will not! you have to turn the rule off or tell the user to leave email off if he wants to get the email to the BB. It has to hit the mailbox for he or she to get it

They can use DM to tell it to sync that subfolder and they can view that subfolder when they want but they will not be alerted to new mail that goes into that subfolder since it doesn't hit the inbox.

You can also do it on the device by doing the following:
    1 - go to email
    2 - go into options
    3 - email settings
4 - click the blackberry button and select folder redirection
5 - have the user select all the folders they want to have on there device
6 - when complete click the blackberry button and save

All new emails in the selected folders will show up on the device and alert on them, if you have hide filed messages set after they are read they will go off the display.

Thanks MW....Didn't know you could do that from there either so thanks for the tip. Never mess w/ redirection. I'm happy as-is. haha
