    Logging BES Admin changes?

    Hiya Guys!

Got a quick question about logging what changes BES administrators make.
How do I turn it on & where do the log files end up?

(our BES uses a seperate SQL server, if that makes a difference).

    Cheers

If you are looking to log who did what for multiple administrators no such function exist.

Thanks. how about for a single admin? (handy in a dev environment to see what changes are made)

I'm not a DBA, but I suspect multiple ones would be handled by SQL (logging by user who uses the DB).

If you are talking changes when a person/admin logs into the BES server and starts the Blackberry Manager, there is a way.

You need to edit the registry.

    HKLM\Software\Reasearch In Motion\Blackberry Enterprise Server\Logging Info\Manager\DebugLogLevel

    Set it to 5.

You can not set this through the Blackberry Config Manager, as it caps at 4.
The log is kept at in with the other logs, MNGR is in the name. (I forget the default, I have mine saving to different location. :> )

Cheers Webber! That also shows me who logs in (we're going to have the BBM as a published citrix app, so the logs will be all in one place).

Is there a way to track what that particular admin did? For example if they made any type of policy change.

Any progress on this? We need to monitor exactly what the admins are changing
