Keeping Enterprise and Personal Mail Separate

Hi, I'm new to this board.

I am using my BB pearl with the default T-mobile Zen theme. I have set up both enterprise and personal (internet) email. My internet email goes to its own "message box", but both my enterprise and personal email messages wind up in the "Messages" mailbox. In other words, my personal emails wind up in two separate mailboxes.

Is it possible to prevent my personal emails from being visible in the "Messages" mailbox, so that I wind up with completely separate mailboxes for personal and enterprise email? I see that I can color code the two types of messages separately, but I'd perfer to just keep them entirely separate.

    Thanks.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ nope. All your messages are going to go to the messages folder. No way around it. Welcome to the stacks.

Options94 is correct, unfortunately this isn't possible. They all go into the main box. Maybe someday they'll include this possibility in future OS upgrades. And welcome!

You could select "View Folder" and choose your BES inbox, and this will filter out everything else, but you would have to do this every time you entered the message list.

And that other icon for your personal email isn't a separate message list, it's merely a filter of the main message list to only show the email from that account.

WrongWay, Welcome to PinStack. For a quick explanation of how the BIS 2.x Email Icons work, you can read my post on Understanding Multiple Mail App Icons (BIS 2.x), which is the same as the link in my Sig. You can create a filter and asign a short cut to show only your work email if you want.

You could just hide the messages icon and only use the icons for the two separate mailboxes since with 2.0 they should each get their own icon.
This should be the same with BES

Ben, BES messages go into the Main list. Only the accounts set up in the BIS get separate Filter Icons.

    Hope this helps.

one great thing about the new 8100 is the ability to have different rings for different email accounts .. So the one that gets spam all day . you can mute this account , or have another account with a certain kind of tone .. works great .. Since I have the same issue , of using a BES server and 2 BIS accounts ...

    Hope this helps

    THE PEARL IS REALLY PERL
