    JUM Error 102 Reset

    Has anyone ever received this error msg? My user landed in FL. and got the message after trying to look up an address. User attempted to do a hard reboot but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

    You need to re-install the device operating system....since you most likely have a corrupt cod file on the device ideally this will be done with a new, updated OS and will be done WITHOUT the back up and restore.

    Also note the following:

    The Completing the Application Wizard screen appears, displaying all the software that will be installed on your BlackBerry smartphone. Click Advanced and make sure that Erase all application data and Erase all currently installed applications are both selected.

    Note: If the Application Loader was not able to access all of the data on your BlackBerry smartphone, then the following two fields are grayed out: Erase all application data and Erase all currently installed applications.

    Gary,

    Thanks for your help. I had a feeling this was going to be an OS issue I just wanted someone else to confirm it before I condemn the phone. My user is out of state currently so I'm just going to issue another unit to him and have him bring the old unit back to me when he gets back so I can reinstall the new OS.
