    IT Policy stuck at Pending

    Hello everyone,
I am new to BB and BES. We just rolled out BES 4.1 company wide (actually still doing this). This is brand new to all of us so we are learning and I am the one that got delegated to do it, not that I mind.
Anyways onto my question, I am setting users up on BES and everything is going fine until I get to one user, I try to apply an IT policy and the status sits at Pending and will not go any further.

I have tried deleting and recreating the users BB account to no avail, I tried to check on the BB itself to see if there is something that could be blocking it but nothing that I could see. I verified the PIN as well just to be sure that it was going to the right one and it is correct, in fact I can send a message to the BB via the PIN.

    Any help would be appreceated.

    OK a little more info.
I just tried to move on and add 5 more users, I got a message that I am out of licenses so I called RIM and ordered some more, still waiting for them to show up.
Any ways it still let me add the 5 new users but it will not install the policies. They are all stuck on a status of Recieved. This is what happened to the origional person yesterday until I deleted and readded him, then it would only go to Pending status.

So as a test I just deleted and readded one of the 5 new people and the status is stuck at pending just like the first person.

OK so time for another update, I recieved my licenses and added them.
I restarted the server to no avail, so I deleted and readded all the users that were giving me grief. Now they are all stuck at Pending status.

    Any help is appreceated.

OK so not sure what happened here but I called RIM and they used a test BB and were able to connect. I tried again on the users here and it is working.

Hate it when things just resolve themselves with no real answer.

One thing that RIM support got me to try was to set the password to something very easy like a single letter. This way there is less chance of messing it up when typing it in, especially with a split keyboard.

Once they have the new password couldn't you just run the have them run BES activation again or did I miss something?

Yes that is what we did but somehow by changing the password again it started working. Before I was using blackberry as a standard activation password and that stopped working so I started using a or q or z etc and then it started working on the enterprise activation
