IT policy question
I have about 12 users on my BES server and they are assigned the DEFAULT IT POLICY which doesnt require a password on the device. My boss wants to force them to use a password on the device, so I copied the DEFAULT IT POLICY and made the Password security changes.
I applied it to 3 phones, one of which had a password on it and the other 2 didn't. When they go to create the new password it and verify it it ask them for their KEY STORE password.
WHat is the Keystore password if the users never created a password on their devices ?
My understanding is that Keystore password is to do with storing certificates (e.g. SSL certificate).
there's a whole thread on it hear. Post#25, tells you how to disable it from desktop manager (maybe there's something in the IT Policy which does the same)?
why not trying to use the newly created password?
