Installing 3rd party app by MDS doesn't work.

I try to install my application on Blackberry terminals by MDS, without involving end user.

I was following instructions from Adminstration Guide for MDS ver. 4.1.3.

I prepared ap.alx and ap.cod files, copied them into apropriate location, created configuration, defined policy, indexed and reindexed the app.

Every time I get the same error:
The specified path does not contain the required device software directory structure.

    Had someone a similar problem?
Maybe there is a tutorial of installing custom application somewhere on the net?

    regards, Julian.

Did you share the folder where the files are stored? Recommendation is to share the folder and then specify the share name (\\servername\sharename) when creating the configuration. This way devices can locate it when it is pushed.
